Cookies
The Elifraf Website uses cookies to identify your preferences and optimize this website. That makes navigation easier for you and makes the Elifraf Website highly user friendly.
I. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files which are stored on your device. They may be used to determine whether your device has already communicated with our website. Only the cookie on your end device is identified. Cookies may contain personal data if you have consented to it or it is technically necessary, e.g. to enable protected login.
For more information on cookies, see www.allaboutcookies.org.
II. What do we use cookies for?
We use cookies
– to guarantee a secure Internet environment;
– to monitor our website performance;
– to assess the way in which you use the Elifraf Website so that we can improve our services.
For example, we can identify if a process is too complex and is causing users to cancel part
way through. That knowledge enables us to simplify process steps and make them more
customer oriented;
– to improve user-friendliness, transparency for our customers and the online experience.
We do not use our cookies to trace your Internet activities beyond our website.
III. What types of cookies do we use and what is their purpose?
1. Session cookies
Session cookies are erased once the browser is closed. They record the website navigation and the length of the session and store your login information for the duration of the website visit. Moreover, session cookies keep your login active during the session.
2. Persistent cookies or tracking codes
Persistent cookies or tracking code do not contain any personal data. They record where the website is opened from, which search engine and search term was used, which link was followed, and the user’s location at the time they accessed the website. They also record the number of visits and the duration of the first, current and previous visit. These cookies only register visits to our website. Visiting other websites does not activate them.
3. Tracking Cookies
See Chapter: Use of Website Analyse Tools.
IV. Can I erase the cookies stored on my device?
You can erase the cookies stored for the Elifraf Website. If you do so, however, your individual data and content, including your cookie settings, will be lost and you will not be recognized as a returning visitor next time you visit our website.
V. Do you agree to our cookies?
Our website’s user concept includes some online features designed to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. However, they only work with cookies.
When you enter the Elifraf Website for the first time, a so called Cookie-Banner appears at the bottom of the entering page, enabling you to refuse the usage of cookies, get more explanation about our data privacy policy or to leave the website. If you continue to browse our website, you agree to the use of cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
VI. How can I withdraw my consent to the use of cookies?
If you do not want us to recognize your device, you can prevent cookies from being stored on your hard drive by selecting “Do not accept cookies” in your browser settings. For details of how this works, please refer to your browser’s user guide.
You can set your browser so that storage of cookies is agreed with only if you give consent. If you do not want to accept the cookies of our service providers and partners, you can select the “Block third-party cookies” setting in your browser.
In general, the help function in your web browser’s menu bar will show you how to reject new cookies and switch off ones you already have.
Please note, however, that some “essential” cookies are crucial for unrestricted navigation of our website and for selection and design. We use those cookies only to monitor the website’s efficiency and record the frequency of visits.
VII. Cookie Consent
Contact Form
Should you send us information via the “contact form” or the “requestion for quotation form”, using the related forms, or using one of the e-mail addresses listed on different pages of this website, we will collect the data entered on the form or the e-mail sent, including the contact details you provide, to answer your contact and any follow-up questions. We do not share this information without your permission.
We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form or send us by e-mail only with your consent per Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time. An informal email making this request is sufficient. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.
We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.
Website Analyse Tools
This site uses MATOMO (before PIWIK) to analyze traffic and help us to improve your user experience.
This plugin is adjusted in a way that
– the IP address is neutralized (the last 1 block is set to zero)
– no cookie file is installed
therefore no reference to personal data is possible.
Integration of Third Party Services and Tools
Third-party content, such as YouTube videos, maps from Open Street Maps, RSS feeds, graphics or fonts from other websites may be integrated into the Elifraf Website. This always requires the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) to detect the user’s IP address. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the user’s browser. The IP address is, therefore, needed for the content to be displayed. We endeavor only to use content from providers who use IP addresses only for the purpose of delivering the content. However, we have no influence on whether or not the third-party provider stores the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. If we know about it, we will inform the users.
Your rights
The legal framework gives you the right to ask for
– Information about your data.
– Rectification of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data.
– Erasure of your data, in particular,
– if it is no longer necessary for the purposes specified in the Data Privacy Statement,
– you have withdrawn your consent and there is no other legal grounds for the processing,
– your data has been unlawfully processed or you object to the processing and there are no overriding
legitimate grounds for the processing.
– Restriction of the processing of your data, in particular if you contest the accuracy of the data or the
processing of your data is unlawful and you request the restriction of its use instead of its erasure.
– The right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to
transmit your data directly to another controller.
Please inform Artek about such eventual requests, using the address in the first chapter of the data privacy notice or the page “Legal Notice”.
You also have the right to appeal to the competent supervisory authority. The national data protection authority in Turkey is the Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu (“Personal Data Protection Authority”). The Authority’s decision-making body is Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu (“Personal Data Protection Board”), whose duties and powers are regulated under the Regulation on the Working Procedures and Principles of Personal Data Protection Board.
